MANXWORKS — SYSTEMS

ManxWorks systems begin with wearable gear—bracelets, necklaces, lanyards, slings, and modular carry pieces designed to move naturally with the body while on a night out or at the obstacle course. Some pieces stay clean and decorative, built with metals like silver or gold that look good and could easily pass for respectable barter if the day ever becomes unusually adventurous. Others lean toward everyday utility, with lanyards and slings designed to carry keys, small tools, and daily essentials. Either way, the idea stays the same: wearable cordage systems that look good, carry well, and keep useful things close at hand.

For field use, Proper Kit systems focus on adaptability. Knife lanyards, axe retention cords, survival slings, shepherd slings, and modular carry rigs keep tools secure while remaining flexible enough to change roles when needed. A sling that carries everyday gear one moment can be untied and repurposed the next—becoming cordage for shelter lines, rigging, repairs, or whatever clever solution the situation demands. Simple cord, tied well, has a long history of solving problems in places where hardware stores are not conveniently located.

The same adaptable approach continues through Like It Ruff companion systems. Leashes, wrist lanyards, and sling-style leads shift between configurations depending on how you’re moving. A wrist lanyard can separate into a longer sling, a sling can wrap into a waist carry, and a leash can run hands-free or hands-on depending on the moment. The goal is simple: flexible systems that let people and dogs move comfortably together—whether that means a relaxed walk, a long hike, or gently reminding an enthusiastic four-legged explorer that the trail does not, in fact, continue directly into the woods at full speed.
